This site is dedicated to the early photographic days of Anglesey's towns and villages. Originally dealing with only the villages on the North Western side of the island, we were surprised by the interest shown in other areas. This being the case, we are slowly building up a database to cover the whole of Anglesey.

The majority of pictures are from old postcards, and this makes sense, as they were taken by the professionals of the day, ensuring the carefully manicured shots that are so appealing to us today.

Some of these postcards can be ripped or scuffed, but because of their rarity and uniqueness, it is well worth taking the time to patiently digitally clean, and process them back to their former glory.
This gives us a sense of satisfaction that we are sure will be appreciated by the viewer.

Experience has taught us not to cut corners on costs, that is why each picture is printed only on top quality photographic paper, using long lasting inks, enabling us to produce a delightful print that will be admired on your walls for years to come.

Although many prints are shown in black and white, and indeed this is an option if required, we tend to print in sepia, giving the natural appearance of a vintage photograph. Also this, set in a cream mount, contrasts splendidly with our dark, solid wood frames.
